Welcome to our Reception Class

“Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to their full potential. A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. A secure safe and happy childhood is important in its own right, and it provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up. When parents choose to use early years services they want to know the provision will keep their children safe and help them to thrive. The Early Years Foundation Stage is the framework that provides that assurance.”

Our Class News

LIGHTS, CAMEL, ACTION!

Well done to all the children involved in the nativity  performances. What a fabulous celebration of our children's talents! The reception dances were fantastic. Well done for all the effort you put in to them and learning all the songs.

Thank you to friends and family for coming to watch, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. An even bigger thank you for bringing in costumes and returning the children to school for the later performance.

This month...

What a fabulous christmas party we had on Thursday. Lots of fun and games, and even more dancing! We even had a special guest appearance from the big man himself... Santa popped in to see the children! Let's hope his elves are on task, preparing for christmas eve, back in the north pole! Don't forget to sprinkle your sparkling reindeer food outside your house so the reindeer know where to land.

We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Children return to school on TUESDAY 10th JANUARY.

'PAWS' TO READ

We are very lucky to have a therapy dog visiting us every Monday. 'Ted' is a very lovable Norfolk Terrier. He loves playing and fetching his ball, having his tummy tickled, and most of all, he enjoys listening to the children read.
