     Literacy

     Science

     D/Technology

     Geography

     History

     Art

     Music

     Physical Education

     Religious Education

     I.C.T

      PSHE/C

Children are organised into classes on a mixed ability and sometimes on a mixed age or stage basis.  The policy of the school is to keep all classes as small as possible especially those in Key Stage One. (following the L.A. guidelines for Admissions).

Each teacher in the school has a responsibility for specific areas of the curriculum.  Details of these are presented on the sheet entitled 'Grange Staff'.  They are supported by a team of Support Staff who work with groups, individuals and carry out general classroom support.

Teachers support and advise each other in matters of resources, methods, content and assessment.

The curriculum is delivered through a combination of specific subject 'lessons' and 'focused' work directed on a specific curricular area.  This form of organisation ensures all programmes of study are taught at each Key Stage, as stipulated within the National Curriculum and DCFS statutory guidelines.
