SEND and Inclusion at Grange Community Primary 

 

Grange Community Primary School is a fully inclusive mainstream nursery and primary school. We are committed to overcoming barriers to learning and aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that ensures the learning needs of all children are catered for.  

 

All children have access to quality first teaching alongside their peers and teachers provide work that is specially designed to match the ability of each group. They do this using a variety of materials and classroom support. 

 

The learning of all the children is regularly monitored and their progress assessed. For those children that require some additional or different action to enable them to learn more effectively, additional support is put into place. The school follows the new Code of Practice (Sept.2014) for children who have special or additional needs.
