Roman Empire

We will continue to learn about animals and classification of vertebrates and invertebrates, understanding that skeletons, shells and exoskeletons protect important internal body parts. Thinking about how animals cannot make their own food, like plants can, we will study diets for healthy lifestyles and the culmination of learning will be to research recipes and create and bake a recipe for Roman bread.

Quality Text: Fox

We read ‘Fox’ as our quality text, a fable about friendships and about not judging a book by its cover. A non-chronological report about a magpie, will support us to write our own factual report about foxes.
