We will enrich our knowledge of Britain’s history, examining people’s different attitudes towards slavery in the 17th and 18th centuries. We look closely at the abolition and the lasting effects that the Atlantic slave trade had on the empire and people; its continued impact, occurrence and resonance in modern society.
